Having one helluva time watching this webinar presentation on soybean tentiform leafminer in light of the developing rash pandemic.

Mornin' comrades! 26 at choretime heading for a high in the low 50's. No newbies in the overnight. Moved another ewe & her twins to the main barn last nite. Makes chores go so much faster the fewer small pens we deal with. Oops! They're moving on to spider mites, more closely related to crab lice. I better pay attention.

I used to go to seminars and coffee and seminars are synonymous. With sugar too.

I had my obligatory two granola bars & some nasty dark French roast coffee so I stayed awake. Actually was some interesting stuff. Kinda fun to take what the researchers are putting out and see how it relates to some of the things we're seeing in the field, especially entomology.

Morning boys. 30 here and heading for 3 today. We only made 31 yesterday. Which is good by me. Don't need it too get to warm with what little ice we have. Otherwise just getting ready for another day in the salt mines. Have a good one boys.

Mornin all, 28 here & we're aiming for 58 later. A pretty good NW breeze starting about noon today though, so it's not gonna feel that warm. Had some clouds roll in around noon yday & they kept us from quite making the predicted high. Still pretty nice for the end of February. No big plans here, have good day.

Morning boys.  Was 30 when I went to bed and it is 31 now.  Looks like a 43 for the high here on the river today.  Gonna be a cold day tomorrow and then a warm up again.  Was nice yesterday and a lot of grass showed up too.  After today we may be about 50/50 with snow cover to grass.  Bucko is back to eating real grass instead of the nice green bales I got for him.  At least we won't run out.  Well have a good day all of you.

Good morning campers. Sunny, not much breeze and 33° this morning. Lots of potential.
Gonna spend part of the day at my daughter's house waiting for an insurance inspector to look at their roof and one big picture window. Doesn't that sound like fun?
      Stay safe everyone.
I used to be cute and adorable. Then, I had my first birthday. Been downhill ever since.

Going to head to Grand Rapids this morning later on. Two days of meetings on tap starting tomorrow at 8:30. So in the nature of keeping up with some of the rest of you guys, Sunday on the way home I'll be stopping by a private party there to pick up our new friend. He's black and white and I'll think we'll name him Lenny. It's been rather depressing around here the past 14 months since we had to put the last springer down. So I'm looking forward to that. Should keep the cats inline too. Got to run, quick Dr. appt., wash the truck and I'm off. Later.... :happy1: :happy1:

Have fun TT.

Thanks, markn. New puppies are so much fun. Maybe you need a new shotgun, too.

Mornin' comrades! 30 at choretime heading for a high in the upper 40's. 50's dotting the map yesterday with lotsa sunshine. Prolly see something similar today. Ewes were out in the pasture off and on picking at grass where it's greening up. Just hoping they come back into the barn when they lamb. Had one ewe poop one out last nite just before feeding another one his bottle. She had a fancy little ewe lamb so we were happy to see that. We're 1/3 done with several contestants getting close. Won't take long to get to the halfway point. Congrats on the new puppy markn! I like tt's thinking too. I know the 6 months we were without a dog there was something missing. There was. A great friend, companion & coworker. Ditto on the cat herding. Gas prices have dropped some locally. $2.89 at WWC & $2.90 at the Cwop. Usually Krause over at Hope has them beat by about $.10/gal. Need to venture that direction soon anyway. Might need some cheese curds anyway.

Good luck Mark! We had a springer back in the day and that pooch had no quit, the thicker the weeds the better I couldn't hardly get her otta the field.  As always evening peoples,  yep tomorrow is the day we go pick out our 4 legged little monster. I'm usually not big on personal threads but I just might do one for her, just to show her progress.  This fella is a dog trainer so I'll be getting some frozen birds for her to track and retrieve as she gets a little older. Ol Remi has no idea what's coming. I'll keep ya posted... See ya!!
