Mornin boys, we had 41* when I looked & I'm hearin 53* will be the high. We had some light mist as we were headed over to Riley's for a little HH yday & it rained pretty good while we were there as well. Still looked like 1.4" in our gauge when we got back here though. With the upcoming change in weather being predicted we'll start putzin with getting our gear out of the lake. Get the canopy off the lift, then pull the boat after I check on the crappies & gills out here a bit more. Neighbor's leavin this mornin, comin back after the  :deer: opener though, so I'll see him off too. No more now, hope you enjoy your day!!

Morning boys.  Was foggy here too.  Still is.  Thinking of taking my boat out on Sunday.  Looks colder after that.  Hate to take it out but does feel good knowing it is ok.  I have gotten caught in the ice too many times.  I don't wait that long anymore.  We were going to keep our camper in the woods all winter and do a New Years eve or Super Bowl gig out there but now we are weakening and my put it in storage.  Good feeling there too knowing it is ok.  Sausage links and eggs and toast today.   :happy1:  Will fish later.  Only 1 small one yesterday.  Well you all have a great Friday.

Mornin' gang! 46 at choretime heading for a high in the low 50's. .25" of rain at the ranch & .24" in Bugtussle. Lot's of people in the office this a.m. killing time. Harvest is largely over and some are done tillage or just taking a break with the rain. Sun is coming out so they'll have to go back at it, clean up their equipment or get on to their honeydew lists. Thinking that last one was why they were hiding in here in the first place!  :undecided: Have to see what the weekend brings at the ranch. Should grind some leaves once they dry up a little. The wind did me a favor & blew a lot of them into the pasture where the sheep gobbled them down. Should also get the oil changed on the tractor & skidsteer but hate to rush into things. That means I'd be ready to haul chit! Weather needs to get colder and crappier 1st!  :bonk:

Just topped off my LP tank with a buddy before the price goes even higher....is at $3.99 gal at U-haul; my normal place to fill, but found it at a friends gas station/LP fill-up place for $3.29 gal. $8.50 just to top off my tank, $15.85 to fill up buddy's tank that went with me. This is gettin' ridiculous. Wait 'til Decemeber... :bonk:

No kidding. They won't let you prepay for winter LP. Gotta buy it off the truck at the going rate. Let's go Brandon!

Ya, things make a lot of sense...one place is .70 cents more a gal, BUT if ya fill up a propane vehicle there, it's $3.50 a gal....but if ya wanna fill yer 20 lb propane tank, it's $3.99 gal.  :bonk: :moon:

Here at Cenex to fill small tanks it is not the same as filling your home tank.  They have an RV charge or something like that that is added to each small tank.  ??

In Warroad at Cenex it is i think .90 per pound under 65 lbs. Over 65 lbs it is .70 per pound. So I try and bring in at least 4  20 lbs tanks when I fill them.

Wow! More good news: The Canadians just sent me a text informing me that I didn't have COVID as of Oct. 21st. Handy information to know...for what I'm not sure. :doah:

Dem Canucks can be a different bunch sometimes....learned that when I spent a week up in Victoria.
Generally pretty decent chaps, though.

I agree about the Canadians I've met anyway. Their government has a head start on ours in the socialism dept. although ours is doing its best to play catch up. From those I've talked to, the people who live out in the sticks are getting as fed up with their govt. as we are with ours in the outstate regions. Metro areas are determining what's good for them. A lot of dictating but not a lot of listening going on. Sounds familiar.

Morning boys. 46 here this am heading for around 50ish. Sitting out in the stand with the bow hoping for big Hank to stroll by. Or even Mrs Hank would work too. The wind is a little off this morning, but it is supposed to be going more to the west when the sun comes up. We will see how accurate they are. Well just another day in paradise. Have a good one boys. Oh and Mike, you should do like us. Beer fridge in the garage and in the house.  ;)

Mornin gang, I seen 38* early & shootin for 55* as the high. Got a few things done here yday too as we took the mower/blower changeover another step, ran the mini tiller some more, moved a step closer to puttin some of the stuff to bed for the season. We took the canopy of the lift when I was done with the boat yday too. I think the boat & trailer may get reacquainted today, hopefully before the big weather change gets here. 'Bout it here, have a good Saturday!!
