Afternoon all, it's amazing what a little cool weather will do. Picked all the remaining peppers yesterday and pretty much gutted the garden, so far so good with the last batch of radishes, a week and they'll be ready. I scurried up on the roof and cleaned out the chimney today and fire shelf downstairs, the garage is plum full of oak and maple just waiting for the cold but I'm not. It's homemade sammiches and soup tonight, not sure what kind of soup but the sammiches are made out of Pillsbury French bread and loaded with pastrami, roast beef and smoked gouda....ummy

Well, it's very late morning (4:30 pm) and getting ready to try to get to ronald mcdonald house for Volunteer social.   

City trying its best to make it impossible.  Can't hardly get there from here thanks to multiple construction projects in between.

I spent 25 mns this am trying to get home from Fleet Farm by hitting 52 N. I got halfway there in 20-25 mns. Cars backed up as far as I could see in my rearview mirror. I finally gave up at the fairgrounds, as there now was now no west (left) turn to hook up and get on 16th st SW to 52N. I said screw it and drove right through the cones on east side of rode and headed past KM glass, then went north on 3rd ave SE to beltline, then onto hwy 52. This town is nothing but a friggin' gangbang of unsynchronized lights and roadwork. Destination medical center. HA! When are the sheeple gonna wake up, get the stars outta their eyes, and see this town for what it is?! Crumbling infrastructure overlaid with MAYO psychobabble and promised glitz. Wake up and call it like ya see it, folks!

Mornin. I see Mr. Boar got his redneck dictionary working this morning. Good job buddy. Ya, I hope all is well with LBBG. Wife and I decided that we are going to go camping and 4 wheelin down in Beltrami this weekend. Might well enjoy the nice weather while we can. I think I may have to bring they old shotgun with incase a grouse or 2 pop out. That would be bonus. CLeaned out the carburetor on the ole Honda genny last night. Runs like a top again now. Pretty easy to do. Well have a good day all!!

41* and sunny here, some hazy orange sky. Looks like it's going to be a nice day. Finished up some odds and ends yday; changed the oil and filter in the truck, and gave him an intense once over. Checked and aired up the tires to specs and checked/ topped off all fluids. Sprayed silicone on all the door molding gaskets. No freezing doors after a winter wash for me. Put the weathertech mats in for winter...and the snow brush/scraper.  He's ready to rock and roll in the snow. Now if Turf Builder would go on sale, I could get that down on the lawn. No ones blowing it out yet; usually it's all gone by now. That's when I buy it and get if for Fall and the coming Spring. It's a day-by-day check; when they blow it out, it's usually gone in a day. Gotta jump on it. My belly says it's time to finish the cawfee and whip up an egg McReb .....keep a cool tool and don't let yer meat loaf, guys.

Hmm I did reply earlier but it isn't here.  I must have done something wrong.  Ya I hope all is well with LBBG.  That is a good one Boar.  lol  I watched the first half of the Broncos and Chargers game last night.  There was a guy from Arkansas that was doing real well as a wide receiver. SO this has always "perplexed" me.  Why is Kansas pronounced cans-ass.  If you put an Ar in front of it it is pronounced our-can-saw.  Hmm go figure.  So the word for the day is:  "perplexed"  = completely baffled or very puzzled.  Can you use that in a sentence Rebs?

Mornin fockers  , just got done wolfing down some tater tot hotdish.  Well my wife and daughter came to a conclusion, our basement is haunted.  They hear things now and then down there that they can't figure out where it's coming from. The boy and I are having fun with this, although the laundry is downstairs so I better not lay it on too thick or him and i will be taking over that duty. Well gotta run.....see ya!!!  I keep ya posted on the hauntings
