Morning boys. Thanks for all the well wishes. 49 here this AM and we got .66" of rain last night with screaming winds off of the lake. Well the eye doc said that the cloudy eye is normal after cataract surgery. He said the crystal clear i had on the first eye was actually more unusual. So he said it will take a few days to clear up. The sooner the better. He said that all looked good. Pressure was good and even though I could hardly see I could dang near read 20 20. So that is a good sign. I go back for a check up next Wednesday. Now just need it to clear up. Hoping before tomorrow, but highly unlikely. Planning to bow hunt after work tomorrow and this coming weekend. Well, just another day in the salt mines. Have a good one boys.
Hey look your bobber is up!

Morning boys.  Got to sleep a little later since the wife wasn't here to get things rolling.  I may even have a second cup of coffee.  Good to hear that your eye is ok JB.  Been thinking about it.  Big meat sale at the store here today.  I will get a 10 lb tube of 80/20 and freeze it in 1.25 lb pkgs.  If baby backs are on sale I will pick up about 4 of them too.  It is wet and windy here.  We too got just under 3/4" of rain.  Don't need any more until my ditch project is finished.  Glenn those Bloody Marys are pretty darn good.  Had a couple last night.  Mayhaps a couple more tonight when I watch the Bucs and Eagles.  You all have a good one.

1 lb just isn't enough in recipes for me.  That little extra makes it better for me.  So out of a 10 lber I will of course get 8 of them.  I measure them with a tape measure to get me close.

Mornin' gang! 41 at choretime heading for a high in the upper 50's. An additional .12" of rain in the gauge at the ranch & .05" in Bugtussle. Glad to hear things look good JB & hope that continues to improve. More soil sampling on the slate for today. Getting about sick of it. Tomorrow my truck is in for an oil change & going over so it'll make it to Bemidji & back. At least it'll get me out of the field.

Ya, that was about it!  :rotflmao:

Mornin' all. 38* out there. Tad chilly. Furnace hasn't kicked on yet, still 66* in here.  Looks like a putter kinda day. Yip yip yip ...WTH is that?! Oh, just those beagles yippin' after getting bit last nite... Got the big blower back yday, changed the plug in the small one. They're ready to rip and tear. I'm all set. Gonna pop a tri-tip beef roast in the cork pot after I inject it this am, and layer it in pearl onyums and gravy mix. Acorn squash with maple butter and fresh peas with bakery rolls to round out dinner. Cripes, I haven't even had breakfast yet! I blame it on Mikey.  :rotflmao:  Have a good one y'all.

Morning boys. 43 here heading for 45 today. The eye is still all foggy. Not sure how long it will take to clear up, but when I joked about it being clear for bow hunting this weekend he laughed and said it may be a challenge. It is rather annoying I can tell you theat. Plan is to go bow hunting after work today, but now they are showing rain this afternoon. We will see I guess. I will hunt tomorrow and Sunday though as the weekend is looking pretty nice. Well, just another day in the salt mines. Have a good one boys.

Mornin fellers, early risers this mornin here, she is a chilly one at that 39 degrees out the door, threw a couple logs in the fireplace last night to warm things up,draggin my feet to fire up the furnance, but soon the way it looks.

Reb,your roast sounds delightful,my butcher/meat counter doesn't offer tri tip roasts, just chuck or sirloin, tri tip a better cut, more tender, flavor, curious, wasn't impressed with a tri tip steak.

Safe weekend to all, opening pheasant (non-rez) this weekend.going to be a mad house in south dakota, heading out now to post up my property then go bang some ducks/geese as the migration is in full swing.

Morning boys.  43 here too.  Looks like dark clouds to the north.  Still some green on some trees but lots of leaves dropping too.  Gonna be a little warmer tomorrow.  That is a good thing.  Will get out the spade and dig my coax trench today so will be ready tomorrow.  Not much else I can do till then.  Will be nice to have it done so I can quit thinking about it.  I even wake up thinking about it.  LOL  SO with the wife gone yet I had Cooper, Buddy and Bob in bed with me last night.  Cooper is giving Bob the business right now.  She will swat at him and hiss pretty soon and that game will be over.  LOL   We miss her.  I have a nice ribeye thawed out to put on the grill tonight or tomorrow night.  Will get it all spiced up today.  Man that sounds great Rebs.  Hard to beat a good beef roast.  Your Bucs took care of the pesky Eagles last night.  I watched part of it.  You all have a good one today.

Mornin gang, we had 45* earlier & I'm not sure  it's goin up much from there. Only place very busy yday in GR was L & M, we made our rounds & were back at Sportsman's for lunch by about 11:30. Had some light mist off & on all day so with that wind it was a bit cool. We got a note from the USPS the other day that said our mailbox no longer meets their new specs  & so did just about everyone else on our road. It needs to come up 10", got a new post yday but we'll have to see what it takes to put it in use. No more now, enjoy your day!!
