I don't know where you guys find the time to read, seams I can't keep up here. I do tho enjoy a big fat fire downstairs on the weekends and watch a hockey game, maybe the gophers tonight.. See ya!!

I use to watch ALOT of Gopher hockey. Back when I knew where to find them and on which night. Big $$ decided they didn't need fans, either at the games or watching on TV so I obliged them.

Evening comrades! Started out around 5 above & topped out near 25. Another shearing session in the books. Was complicated by a couple ewes that lambed at choretime just before we started. Didn't have time for breakfast so when we finished at 2 p.m. I was starving.  Glas to be done though. Just makes the whole lambing process go so much more smoothly. I bedded the lambing barn with some bright oat straw tonite after chores. Dries it out nice & with the ewes no longer insulated, they give off a lot of heat so it's comfortable in there for the lambs. Glad it's over but I'm shot.

Hey, Dutch. Had some time on my hands so I did a little research. Hope this helps.

Jeffrey Archer Books

Harry Clifton series in order;
Only Time will Tell
The Sins of the Father
Best Kept Secret
Be Careful What You Wish For
Mightier Than the Sword
Cometh The Hour
This was a Man

William Warwick series in order;
Nothing Ventured
Hidden in Plain Sight
Turn a Blind Eye
Over my Dead Body
Next in Line

Kane and Abel series:
Kane and Abel
The Prodigal Daughter
Shall We Tell the President?

There’s quite a few others, but without digging further, I can’t tell if they are part of a series.

Morning boys.  Man that sounds great Mike.  I have a big pkg of CS ribs in the freezer and I think I will do that with them when their time comes.  We had those pork fillets with bacon last night with some cheesy broccoli.  Great combo.  Coffee is perking.  We will head to the Falls today for some stuff.  Probably have a bite either at the Moose or Hardees.  Then back home and do some cooking.   :happy1: :happy1:  24 here at the moment.

Mornin' comrades! 25 at choretime heading for a high in the low 40's. Wifey helped with chores so got that done with less hassle than it could've been. Ewe #10 came in overnite. Was another set of twins I fished out from behind the water tank ~ 4 a.m. so the nursery is nearly full. If this lambing stuff was any more fun everyone would be doing it. Saw the wife off about 9 so she can meet up with her gal pals, drop off some lamb, & give some of the gimp equipment back to the friend who loaned it to her. Poppy & I have big plans, the main one being a big nap. Looks like she's got a head start on me. Oh well, I'll catch up.

Drove down to Gaylord yesterday with the bride for her aunt's 80th birthday. Had a good time, azz is sore from sitting that long. 4 1/2 hours in the car round trip. More coffee, some eggs and sausage and I'm going to try to finish off insulating and sheeting the East wall in the garage. Seeing how it didn't get done yesterday. Had a doe and last year fawn lying outside of the bedroom window this morning where it's plowed off and there's grass showing again. Doe was good sized, the little guy/gal limped off holding his right front leg up. Not sure what was going there. Have a great day all, go KC. Later...... :happy1: :happy1:

Mornin' comrades! 26 at choretime heading for a high in the upper terdies. No newbies overnite. Was surprised but I'll take a little sleep whenever I can get it. I see the side panel on the homepage with the most recent posts isn't showing up on my phone. Does on the confuser so no biggie. Docking tails, shots & ear tagging on the slate along with moving 4 or 5 pens of ewes with lambs. Fun never stops. Hopefully they're cooperative. Need the space in the lambing barn before another explosion of lambs.
