Morning boys.  I couldn't get on yesterday later on neither.  It is 24 here and should see 40.  Just like yesterday but we hit 45 and may today too.  We had a nice fire finally and it felt great.  May do it again today.  We shall see.  Yes Happy Easter.  We will bake our ham later on.  I looked out the window yesterday and here comes Jake running like crazy back to our side of the river on that iffy ice.  The geese sit on the Canada side lawns and he must have been drawn to them.  I don't know how far he got over there. He is tethered now till the next ice out.  Also I just shot another pine squirrel.  That is #7 this year.  3 is the most we have gotten other years.  They are not getting in our crawl space again.  Well have a good one, I need more coffee.
LPS, is a pine squirrel the same as a red squirrel? What do you shoot them with, a pellet rifle? .22 or .177

Yes Coop, Red squirrels are Pine squirrels.  I was using my new SR22 auto hand gun but now using my very old Rem. Targetmaster single shot .22.  With it I use CB shorts so just a little louder than a pellet gun.  Kills them dead.  Much quieter than the handgun.  Cooper doesn't like that loud noise.  Jake is drawn to it.

Nice rifle HD! I’ve got a lot of them I need to get rid of, but I need something quiet because of the neighbors. The other day one was climbing up under my truck. I used my key fob horn to scare him out, but he kept coming back.

Ever try CB short .22 ammo Coop?  When I lived in Stillwater I shot squirrels all of the time with it.  Noone even knew.  Real quiet and it works great.

Morning boys. 19 here and heading for 38 today it says. Think we hit 41 yesterday. The only thing we accomplished yesterday was to cut firewood and load the woodshed. I also did get my fish house drug up in the yard. That became a battle because of it being warm. The snow became packed and slippery. So I had to scrape the whole ramp down to the cement. Otherwise just getting ready for another day in the salt mines. Have a good one boys.
